Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- 1-2 years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 plus months leading banquets preferred
- must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- Supervises the setup execution and breakdown of both remote and stationary retail food or bar locations
- sets up and tends bar as required
- organizes and delegates tasks to staff before during and after retail and catering events
- assists managers with bar retail and catering inventories
- takes and passes alcoholic beverage service training
- reviews assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to the scheduled event
- conducts pre banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance and hygiene standards are met assign stations and partners and review banquet event orders
- communicates with the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager or event coordinator to ensure all details have been planned for and met and any changes are made in a timely manner
- ensures appropriate quantities of china glassware silverware linens and other items are available or requisitioned for events
- checks room setup prior to event and meets with Executive Chef to confirm quantities of food items and timing of food leaving the kitchen
- ensures proper handling and storage of all equipment such as china glassware silverware linens and props
- conducts random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality including food temperature placement availability and upsell opportunities
- regularly reviews banquet schedule calendar of events and special events
- incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- maintains regular and reliable attendance
- performs other duties as required
