Founded in 1922 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Wesco has grown to serve a vast network of clients worldwide, building a reputation for excellence and innovation in the distribution industry. As a Fortune 500 company, Wesco prides itself on its commitment to quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. With over 20,000 employees across its global operations, Wesco fosters a workplace culture that values teamwork, respect, and diversity. The company offers comprehensive benefits and continuous development opportunities, making it an employer of choice for ambitious professionals seeking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The position of Warehouse Worker Team Lead at Wesco’s distribution facility is a critical role designed for highly motivated individuals eager to develop expertise in distribution and supply chain best practices valued by Fortune 250 companies worldwide. This role serves as a gateway to building a rewarding career within Wesco, where employees are empowered to learn, grow, and contribute to powering the connected world. As a Lead Associate in Operations, you will take on supervisory responsibilities, directing the work of other associates while engaging in hands-on tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting. Your role ensures that shipments are handled accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
This immediate-hire opportunity offers competitive compensation ranging from $24.73 to $30.91 per hour, reflecting geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Wesco supports its workforce with a benefits package thoughtfully designed to promote wellbeing, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options, generous paid time off, 401k retirement savings plans, and national discounts on essential goods and services. The role also encompasses opportunities for personal and professional development, such as training programs and educational assistance, encouraging associates to pursue their passions and advance their skill set.
Joining Wesco means becoming part of a company that not only supplies products and services but also builds, connects, powers, and protects the infrastructure of the modern world. The Team Lead will perform key duties including supervising workflow, monitoring safety protocols, reviewing shipments for quality control, and coordinating communications with management. This hands-on leadership position is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse operations, forklift handling, and basic computer skills, who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess problem-solving aptitude, and are comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Wesco’s inclusive culture is committed to providing equal employment opportunities, fostering diversity, and supporting every employee’s success. As part of this role, you will contribute directly to the operational excellence of Wesco’s distribution network, working collaboratively with teammates to uphold the company’s high standards. If you are ready to launch your career with a well-established and forward-thinking company that values its people and promotes career growth, Wesco is the right place to make a difference and achieve your professional goals.
