Job Description

Igloo Products Corp. is a renowned American brand with a legacy spanning over 75 years, known primarily for its exceptional and durable coolers designed to meet everyday needs. As an iconic player in the housewares industry, Igloo has evolved from its origins as a metalworking shop providing fresh cold water to Texas workers to becoming America’s most recognizable brand of ice chests, celebrated for quality and innovation. Today, Igloo boasts more than 90% brand awareness and holds the number one market share in the US cooler category. Beyond coolers, the company has become a high-growth lifestyle brand that inspires outdoor experiences centered on fun, family, and friends. Igloo is also a pioneer in sustainability within its category, offering biodegradable coolers and products made from post-consumer recycled resin and other sustainable materials. The company has embraced the digital era with a growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) business, enabling it to forge direct relationships with its customers. In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, opening exciting opportunities for global growth and brand synergy across markets.

The Assembly Line Lead role at Igloo is a key supervisory position responsible for leading and overseeing assembly line operations to ensure the safe production of coolers that meet the company’s high-quality standards. This role requires proactive leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to workplace safety. The Assembly Line Lead is tasked with supervising production lines, providing clear instructions and training to both new and current employees, ensuring all personnel utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) properly, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality regulations. The position also demands active monitoring of production efficiency, thorough reporting on shift activities, and immediate escalation of any issues affecting safety, quality, or production targets.

In addition to operational oversight, the Assembly Line Lead must verify that all job-related documentation matches the products being assembled, manage scrap tickets for non-conforming materials, and ensure all unused components are returned appropriately. Technical troubleshooting, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment are integral to this role. Certification in core assembly positions, including screw gunning, foaming, cleaning, and drain plug installation, is a prerequisite.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global setting with room for professional growth and development. Igloo, now part of the Dometic family, provides a culture of continuous improvement, where employees can embrace challenges and advance their careers. Benefits include a comprehensive medical package, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, disability options, company-paid holidays, and flexible spending accounts, all designed to support employee well-being and work-life balance.

If you are passionate about leading teams in a manufacturing environment and thrive in a culture that values safety, quality, and continuous growth, the Assembly Line Lead position at Igloo Products Corp. could be your next career milestone. Join a team dedicated to building quality products and fostering a collaborative workplace where diversity and inclusion are embraced. Igloo is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing fair and respectful treatment to all employees and applicants regardless of background.
