Job Description
Igloo Products Corp. is a renowned American brand with a legacy of over 75 years, recognized for its exceptional and durable coolers designed to meet everyday needs. The company has established itself as a leader in the housewares industry, evolving into a rapidly growing lifestyle brand that inspires outdoor experiences centered around fun, family, and friends. With more than 90% brand awareness and holding the number one market share in the US, Igloo continues to innovate and pioneer sustainability within its product category by introducing biodegradable coolers and those made with post-consumer recycled resin and other sustainable materials. Additionally, Igloo has expanded its reach through a growing direct-to-consumer business, fostering strong relationships directly with its customers. In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands, marking a new phase of global growth opportunities for both companies.
Igloo is currently seeking a passionate Assembly Line Lead to join its dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Assembly Line Lead will play a critical role in supervising assembly operations to ensure the safe production of high-quality coolers. This leadership role involves managing assembly line employees, providing training, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting production efficiency targets. The Line Lead is responsible for fostering a respectful and empowering work environment where all employees feel welcomed and equipped with the necessary tools and protective equipment. Safety is paramount, with stringent protocols in place to report accidents, hazards, and any unsafe conditions promptly. The role requires meticulous oversight of production parameters, quality checks, and thorough documentation, including shift reports, scrap tickets, and production counts. The Line Lead will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain clean and organized work areas, and work closely with supervisors to address any obstacles to achieving operational goals.
This position demands certification across core assembly positions such as screw gunning, foaming, cleaning, and drain plug installing. The candidate must be proactive in maintaining production efficiency at or above 95%, ensuring all materials and components are properly managed and returned to the warehouse, and upholding all company policies and core values. Joining Igloo means being part of a company that values inclusivity, diversity, and employee growth with continuous opportunities for career advancement within a supportive corporate culture. The organization offers an impressive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, accidental death insurance, supplemental life insurance, company-paid holidays, and flexible spending accounts. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in leadership positions in a manufacturing setting and who are motivated by safety, quality, and operational excellence.
