Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
one year of baking experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
must possess solid communication skills
ability to read and follow a recipe
ability to accept constructive feedback
ability to lift up to 50 pounds
basic math skills
must be self-directed and mission-driven
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
one year of baking experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
enjoys working with and handling artisan breads and doughs
enjoys cooking with and eating a variety of artisan bread products
ability to read and follow a recipe
basic math skills used to half or double recipes
knowledge of baking procedures and times
ability to interpret policies and procedures
excellent organization and planning skills
solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills
ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict
ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for personal and team success
ability to make logical, significant decisions using recognized skills and techniques
integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, self-directed with a passion for Harmons' commitment

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides
responsible for maintaining appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for artisan bread counter
confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products, paying particular attention to ad items
ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
delivers excellent customer service to all customers
follows precise recipes and techniques for mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking Harmons' artisan breads
