Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- prior airport ramp operations and leadership experience
- ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- current driver license with no violations over the past 5 years
- must pass all pre-employment tests including drug test
- flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- able to obtain and maintain all required airport and custom badges/seals
- able to continuously lift/move/push 70 lbs
- must pass pre-employment drug test
Job Qualifications
- Prior airport ramp operations and leadership experience
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- current valid driver license with no violations in the past five years
- ability to obtain and maintain required airports and custom badges/seals
- able to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to continuously lift, move, or push 70 lbs
Job Duties
- Lead and direct the work of fueling personnel
- give instruction, support, and training to employees
- ensure timely and efficient delivery of fueling and deicing services
- report daily to supervisor or manager detailing status of daily operations
- check equipment for unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to remove hazards
- fuel aircraft using hydrant carts, stationary carts, trucks, or other fueling equipment
- perform defueling as required
- conduct weekly safety briefings as necessary
- comply with attendance and tardiness policies
