Currently, the firm is seeking a talented Law Student Recruiting Coordinator for a temporary position based in Miami, Florida. This role is contract-based, with the assignment expected to last through August and the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. The opportunity is ideal for legal recruiting professionals who are passionate about talent acquisition and employee engagement within the legal sector. The position requires full-time, in-office attendance five days a week.
The Law Student Recruiting Coordinator will serve as the pivotal organizer and facilitator of law student and entry-level recruitment activities, primarily at the Miami office. This role demands an individual with exceptional coordination skills, capable of managing multiple recruitment events, orientation programs, and social engagements. The coordinator will oversee the onboarding process and integration of summer associates, lateral associates, and off-track attorneys, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm’s culture and practices. This includes planning detailed orientation sessions and providing ongoing support during their early stages at the firm.
Additionally, the coordinator will manage the summer associate programs rigorously, planning social events, tracking performance, and maintaining open communication channels to keep candidates and associates engaged and informed. A significant aspect of the role involves acting as the primary liaison with law school career offices and student groups, fostering strong connections to maximize interview programs and engagement activities. Managing law student interview logistics is another critical responsibility; the coordinator will be tasked with compiling necessary documentation, coordinating candidate schedules, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the recruitment cycle.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of legal recruiting experience
