The Laundry Worker position within Denver Health's Laundry and Linen Department offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute directly to the hospital's operations by managing laundry and linen services essential to hospital hygiene and patient care. This role entails sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and packing hospital laundry and linen under close supervision to ensure each department receives the correct linens. Laundry Workers play a fundamental part in maintaining hospital cleanliness standards by determining whether garments go into tumblers or ironers, folding sheets using specialized folders, marking linens appropriately, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
