The Laundry Worker position at Aramark is a critical role within their laundry operations that ensures high-quality processing, cleaning, finishing, and distribution of linens. The Laundry Worker is responsible for handling linens by operating laundry equipment such as flatwork ironers and automatic cart washers. Key duties include sorting soiled linen, folding and processing specialty items, performing quality control to ensure linens meet customer expectations, labeling and tagging linen carts correctly, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. This role also requires cooperation with truck drivers to load linens and to communicate effectively with leads or supervisors about supply levels or any quality concerns.

The role involves physical activity including lifting, bending, pushing, and extended periods of walking or standing, and might require the use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) to comply with safety standards.
