This role is integral to maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and smooth functioning of hotel operations. The position requires a proactive and service-oriented individual who excels in communication and multitasking. You will act as a vital link between guests and hotel employees, ensuring their concerns are addressed timely and with empathy. The position demands a blend of hands-on housekeeping duties and administrative responsibilities, including handling lost and found items, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting room attendants. You will be expected to attend all required meetings and trainings, maintain a professional appearance, and maximize productivity through problem-solving and initiative. Job Requirements

  • Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
  • Prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Be detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
  • Speak, understand, and communicate in the primary workplace language
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch to perform painting and engineering tasks
  • Follow safety requirements including use of personal protective equipment
  • Flexible and able to work long hours
  • Able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and stand for the entire shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Flexibility to cross-train in various hotel departments
  • Basic knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures

Job Duties

  • Dispose of trash from service landings per procedures
  • Vacuum guest corridors
  • Assist housekeeping with various tasks
  • Deliver clean linen to assigned sections
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping areas
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
