The role of Laundry Attendant is a part-time position with a wage rate of $21.00 per hour. This role is crucial in ensuring that the hotel maintains an excellent standard of cleanliness and readiness by providing a constant supply of clean linens required for daily operations. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for managing all stages of the linen processing cycle—this includes collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers and dryers, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering linens. A significant part of the job involves maintaining the cleanliness of laundry machinery and the laundry area to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Monitoring supply levels and communicating shortages to management is also key to maintaining smooth operations.

In this role, you will also be expected to respond promptly and courteously to any guest service issues related to laundry, enhancing the overall guest experience. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with room cleaning, delivering items to guest rooms upon request, and performing houseperson duties as needed. Working successfully in this position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to work well in a team, and also strong independence and discipline since consistent workflow must be maintained without supervision.
