Job Requirements
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- six months of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and understand safety procedures and cleaning instructions
- ability to maintain effective customer relations
- excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills
- physical ability to perform medium to heavy work involving lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, and other physical tasks
- availability to work first shift including holidays and weekends
- ability to follow safety regulations and maintain an organized workspace

Job Duties
- Follow assigned job tasks issued by the supervisor daily
- stock linen closets and remove soiled linens from deposit areas
- sort linen daily
- load and unload all washer extractors as prescribed
- maintain chemical laundry products and ensure proper dispensing
- operate the flatwork ironer
- clean and disinfect laundry carts daily
- report problems or malfunctions of laundry equipment to supervisor
- follow safety regulations at all times
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- maintain good employee and guest relations
- perform other related duties as assigned
