The full-time Laundry Attendant position at Woods Cove Inn is pivotal to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the inn upholds. The role involves meticulous handling of hotel linens, including washing, drying, and folding to ensure every item meets quality expectations. A Laundry Attendant here will also be tasked with inspecting linens for stains and performing appropriate treatments, thereby contributing to the overall upkeep of the inn’s aesthetic and hygiene standards. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role
ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
attention to detail
good communication skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Duties

Sort linens for washing
check for stains and treat appropriately
wash, dry, fold linen
run linen and deliver as requested
store linen in appropriate location
maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition
report any missing/found articles or damage to the housekeeping supervisor
assist with room attendant duties as needed
maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
