The role of a Laundry Attendant at Concord Hospitality is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness that guests expect from a premium hotel experience. As a "Heart of the House" associate, the Laundry Attendant plays a key role in the team by ensuring all linens, uniforms, and fabric items are properly cleaned, handled, and prepared for guest use every day. This position involves operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, which includes the responsible handling of chemicals and regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning lint traps.

Laundry Attendants at Concord are tasked with inspecting each article removed from the machines to ensure they meet the high standards of cleanliness and quality. They must be vigilant in identifying any stained or damaged items, deciding whether they require repair, spot treatment, rewashing, or disposal. Precise attention to fabric care is critical, including setting dryers to appropriate times and temperatures based on fabric type and size, which helps in preserving the quality and longevity of the linens.

Beyond machine operation, Laundry Attendants are responsible for folding cleaned articles to designated sizes, either manually or by using a folding machine, and maintaining meticulous records of laundered items. This ensures efficient tracking and accountability within the laundry department.
