Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
- Add chemicals and clean lint traps
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine repair or discard status
- Inspect cleanliness of articles
- Place cleaned items in linen carts
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and filters
- Fold cleaned articles by hand or machine
- Maintain accurate records of laundered items
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain uniform and professional appearance
- Protect company assets and confidentiality
- Develop positive working relationships
- Support team in reaching goals
- Ensure quality expectations and standards
- Identify and implement efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-saving improvements
- Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Navigate confined and uneven spaces
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
