The Laundry Attendant plays a fundamental role in the daily operations of the housekeeping division by managing the entire linen processing cycle. This includes collecting soiled linens from various points throughout the hotel, transporting and sorting them efficiently, operating washers and dryers safely and effectively, and ensuring that all linens are cleaned to the hotel's strict standards. The Laundry Attendant is also responsible for maintaining laundry machinery, cleaning the laundry area regularly, and ensuring proper storage of clean linens. The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can multitask and manage time effectively while contributing to a clean and safe work environment.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Housekeeping and will be expected to demonstrate a positive and upbeat personality while providing outstanding customer service. This role involves not just mechanical laundry duties but also requires good communication skills, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to upholding the hotel's policies relating to confidentiality, security, and safety standards including OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
