Job Description

HHM Hotels is a distinguished hotel brand known for its commitment to guest satisfaction, sustainability, and exemplary service standards. As an established player in the hospitality industry, HHM Hotels prides itself on providing exceptional lodging experiences to its guests worldwide. The company is dedicated to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace, embracing diversity and equal opportunity for all employees. With a focus on innovation and excellence, HHM Hotels continuously works to uplift its service quality while encouraging the professional growth of its team members through various development opportunities.

The Laundry Attendant role at HHM Hotels offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals passionate about cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position involves performing laundry cleaning tasks in strict adherence to the brand's established standards, ensuring that linens, towels, and other fabric items are meticulously cleaned, prepared, and maintained for use by hotel guests. The role emphasizes sustainability, requiring the attendant to follow eco-friendly practices wherever possible. In addition to handling laundry machines, the Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting soiled linen, pre-treating stains, folding and storing clean items, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

This is an essential front-of-house position that supports the overall guest experience, impacting satisfaction scores positively through attention to detail and prompt service. The role also offers a clear growth path within the housekeeping department, beginning as a Laundry Attendant with opportunities to advance to Room Attendant, Housekeeping Supervisor, and ultimately Executive Housekeeper, encouraging long-term career development.

HHM Hotels values employees who practice safe work habits and wear protective equipment as necessary. The work environment may require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating industrial machines, so physical stamina and a safety-first mindset are paramount. Working schedules could include holidays, weekends, and varying shifts, proving adaptability is advantageous. As part of HHM’s inclusive culture, prior housekeeping experience is seen as beneficial, though not mandatory, for this role.

Beyond the core responsibilities, the Laundry Attendant is expected to assist with general housekeeping tasks during staffing shortages, collaborate with team members to maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to improving guest satisfaction metrics. HHM Hotels promotes a culture where employees‘ contributions are recognized through competitive wages, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and various employee programs designed to support well-being and professional growth.

Choosing a career at HHM Hotels as a Laundry Attendant is not just about a job; it’s about joining a family committed to excellence, sustainability, and outstanding service. Prospective employees can look forward to a supportive work environment that values capability, service mindset, and professionalism, underpinned by a corporate ethos focused on empowerment and ownership of one’s responsibilities.
