The role available at Cavallo Point Lodge is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and guest satisfaction within the property. The position involves executing a range of housekeeping duties aimed at maintaining the pristine condition of guest rooms and common areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for punctual attendance and adherence to dress code standards, as well as demonstrating respect and discretion in all interactions with guests, coworkers, and the property itself. Key responsibilities include following all rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook, reporting any guest or employee complaints promptly to the Executive Housekeeper, and implementing stringent key control procedures to safeguard security. The role demands a keen attention to detail regarding personal grooming standards, a thorough understanding of the hotel’s health, safety, and fire policies, and active participation in maintaining the care of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The individual must be vigilant in identifying and reporting any health or safety hazards, uphold guest privacy and confidentiality, and exhibit familiarity with sanitation, cleaning, and safety standards critical to operational excellence. Responsiveness to guest requests is essential, alongside communication with housekeeping management or engineering for any maintenance needs. Specific tasks include changing linens and making beds, replacing towels, performing dusting of all surfaces including furniture and vents, vacuuming or sweeping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathroom fixtures and flooring, cleaning interior windows, replenishing guest supplies to designated levels, and carrying out other duties necessary to ensure the seamless operation of the hotel. This role is offered as a part-time or full-time hourly position, with a competitive pay rate of $24.98 per hour, reflecting the lodge's commitment to attracting skilled professionals dedicated to providing total guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies
  • Good physical stamina
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sanitation, cleaning and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Follow all rules and regulations as outlined in employee handbook
  • Report to work on time and in assigned uniform
  • Report guest/employee complaints immediately to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Implement and ensure that proper key controls are in effect
  • Ensure that personal grooming reflects personal pride at all times
  • Be respectful and discreet towards guests, coworkers and property
  • Understand and comply with all aspects of hotel’s health, safety and fire policy
