Job Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
Must be capable of performing the essential job functions and physical and sensory requirements for all job functions

Job Qualifications

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Ability to perform essential job functions and physical and sensory requirements
Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and reliability

Job Duties

Ensure linen and clothing articles are washed and returned to designated areas or residents in excellent condition
Follow directions from the Director of Housekeeping
Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas
Sort and handle laundry items appropriately according to type and care instructions
Assist in managing inventory of linens and clothing
Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
Report any issues or damages related to laundry items or equipment
