The role of the Laundry Aide is pivotal to maintaining a clean, hygienic, and orderly environment essential to patient recovery and well-being. The Laundry Aide is tasked with performing day-to-day laundry services ensuring that patients' clothing and linens are properly collected, sorted, cleaned, ironed, folded, and distributed promptly and efficiently. This role demands attention to detail and dedication to the health and safety standards as set by the facility and regulatory bodies. It requires consistent communication and collaboration with healthcare staff, vendors, and other associates to uphold the patient rights and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
