The role of Laundry Aide at Larksfield Place is a full-time position dedicated to supporting the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of residents by ensuring fresh linens and clean clothing are readily available. Starting with a competitive wage of $15.00 per hour, the Laundry Aide is an integral part of the facility’s housekeeping and resident service teams. The role requires operating commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, managing the collection, washing, drying, and folding of linens, uniforms, and residents’ personal laundry. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely
- Full-time availability including rotating weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle laundry tasks
- Commitment to following hygiene and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in laundry, housekeeping, or a related field preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to manage high volumes of laundry

Job Duties
- Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens, uniforms, and residents' personal laundry
- Sort and inspect items for stains, wear, or damage before and after laundering

- Label and return resident items to appropriate locations
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry workspace
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures
