Established in 2000, this company embodies the core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence, encapsulated in their guiding acronym C.A.R.E. With a strong footprint of over 100 locations across Indiana, American Senior Communities has a rich tradition of Hoosier hospitality and excellence in senior care. The staff takes immense pride in contributing to a mission that goes beyond mere employment, embracing a meaningful calling to improve the lives of seniors.

The role of Laundry Aide at American Senior Communities is pivotal in supporting the housekeeping department by providing essential cleaning and laundry services. This full-time position requires dedicated individuals who are committed to upholding the high standards of hygiene and comfort that define the community. The Laundry Aide ensures that linens, clothing, and other washable materials are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use, contributing directly to the wellbeing and comfort of residents. Those who thrive in this role exhibit stamina, physical strength, and endurance, as the job demands sustained periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive motions.

Beyond the physical requirements, the role demands a compassionate and supportive presence that enhances the overall atmosphere for residents. Teamwork plays a central role, as Laundry Aides collaborate closely with housekeeping peers and other departments to provide seamless care. By adhering to the company’s C.A.R.E. values, team members demonstrate compassion in their approach, accountability in their duties, foster positive relationships, and strive for excellence in all tasks. The employer values employees who contribute positively to the community ethos and who can maintain professionalism and attentiveness throughout their shifts.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation with early access to earnings, employee referral bonuses, 401(k) plans, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), free life insurance, paid time off exchange opportunities, and much more. Health and wellness benefits encompass affordable medical coverage, including vision and dental insurance, access to Employee Assistance Programs, wellness coaching, and support from workforce chaplains. Work-life balance is supported through holiday pay, additional paid time off, and employee discount programs on travel, entertainment, and retail. The company also prioritizes career development, providing mentorship, clinical and leadership development pathways, education partnerships with reputable colleges such as Ivy Tech and Purdue Global, financial support for continuing education, scholarships, and tuition reimbursement.

American Senior Communities prides itself on a vibrant team culture that celebrates employee dedication through recognition events and awards.
