Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics or related field
  • proven experience in last mile delivery operations
  • ability to manage multiple locations and teams
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • proficiency with relevant technology and reporting tools

Job Qualifications

  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent mathematical skills with ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • ability to analyze technical and scientific journals related to the business and market
  • strong problem solving and reasoning abilities
  • experience in last mile logistics management
  • leadership skills to manage personnel across multiple locations

Job Duties

  • coordinate flow of communication between haulers, delivery teams, flatbed drivers, call center and local client management teams
  • provide on-site presence regularly to ensure adherence to procedures
  • oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of haulers
  • develop and maintain relations with vendors
  • ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims
  • interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery
  • maintain monthly operation reports including statistics and customer service scores
