Kutztown Dining Services is a dynamic and vibrant division within Kutztown University dedicated to enhancing the campus dining experience. Known for its commitment to quality food service and community engagement, Kutztown Dining Services offers students a welcoming environment that supports student life and fosters connections among the university community. The team is focused on not only providing excellent dining options but also promoting meal plans and events that enrich campus culture. As part of their ongoing efforts, they seek innovative and outgoing students who are eager to engage with their peers and contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives. This paid on-campus opportunity as a Dining Ambassador is ideal for students who want to gain practical experience in marketing, communications, and event support while building a valuable resume in a fun and fast-paced setting.
The Dining Ambassador role is specially designed to offer hands-on experience in multiple facets of student engagement and marketing. Ambassadors work closely with the Dining Marketing Team to promote KU’s meal plans, plan and staff campus dining events, and create engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This position encourages creative and energetic individuals to utilize their communication skills and marketing knowledge to help shape the dining experience for the university community. Key responsibilities include supporting event coordination, conducting student surveys to gather feedback, helping with photography and videography for promotional purposes, and contributing to both digital and print marketing projects using tools like Canva. Additionally, Dining Ambassadors serve a vital role in enhancing student involvement in campus dining and fostering a positive atmosphere at orientations, admissions events, and university recruitment days.
Embracing a culture of service and teamwork, Kutztown Dining Services operates under the broader mission statement of Aramark, a global leader in food services and facilities management. Aramark’s commitment to employee development and equal opportunity employment makes this role not just a job but a stepping stone toward professional growth. Students stepping into the Dining Ambassador position will gain valuable practical skills in marketing and communications, customer engagement, event planning, and social media management. Candidates who thrive in this role are those who are outgoing, reliable, and passionate about building connections and elevating the campus experience. This is an excellent opportunity for students majoring in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Social Media, Design, or related fields, and those interested in content creation, event coordination, or promotional campaigns.
