Kona Ice is a dynamic and engaging mobile shaved ice franchise that brings joy and refreshment to communities through its colorful and flavorful shaved ice trucks. Established as a fast-growing company, Kona Ice has built a reputation for not only delivering delicious treats but also creating memorable experiences at a wide variety of events. These include school events, sports games and tournaments, festivals, concerts, corporate gatherings, neighborhood celebrations, weddings, birthdays, and many other unique community events. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license, a minimum of two years driving experience and clean record
- Must have a reliable source of transportation
- Weekday, weekend availability and flexible schedule - must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Hours vary from week to week
- some days will be 5 hours some days can be as long as 10 hours depending on the events for the day
- Mandatory holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day
- Drivers must be comfortable driving and parking a large vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid Driver's License with a minimum of two years driving experience
- Have a clean driving record
- Enjoy working in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
- Ability to interact positively with children and community members
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable driving and parking a large vehicle approximately the size of an ambulance
Job Duties
- Safely operate the Kona Ice truck at various community events
- Provide outstanding customer service to all attendees, especially children
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the truck
- Complete basic cleaning and stocking tasks
- Accurately handle cash and necessary documentation
- Communicate equipment or inventory needs to the management team
- Work flexibly including weekends, holidays, and varied hours based on event demands
