The Food Preparation Associate role at Drury Hotels is a vital position focused on ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and meets the food expectations of guests. Working under general supervision, this role involves preparing a variety of food items using kitchen equipment and utensils following standardized recipe cards. The Food Preparation Associate maintains the cleanliness and organization of the food prep area, ensuring safety and sanitary standards are met consistently. In addition to food preparation, this role includes assisting guests when necessary and delivering food orders promptly. This role requires a candidate who is at least 18 years of age and capable of following both written and verbal instructions in English. The Food Preparation Associate supports the bartender but does not handle the preparation or pouring of alcoholic beverages. Proficiency in operating kitchen machines, dishwashers, POS software, and other equipment is required to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used including POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people professionally
- Ability to support bartender but not make or pour alcoholic beverages
- Ability to clean and maintain assigned areas
- Ability to efficiently move around bar and kitchen area
Job Qualifications
