Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively
- Ability to mix and serve drinks quickly and accurately
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
- Ability to handle money and use office machines
- Ability to operate kitchen and bar equipment
- Ability to manage difficult situations professionally
- Ability to open and close the bar and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to make correct change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting professionalism
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain areas for which responsible
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean and well-organized manner
- Serve and assist guests with hospitality and professionalism
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed
- Obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Handle money, make change, and operate cash register and POS software
- Diplomatically handle difficult situations and lead other team members as necessary
