Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year of bartending experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
- Ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to handle money and operate related equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and kitchen areas
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to open and close the bar and manage inventory and supplies
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year of bartending experience required, two or more years preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required, two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary certifications
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to mix and serve drinks efficiently
- Ability to handle money and make change accurately
- Proficient in operating relevant machines and equipment including POS systems and kitchen devices
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Capable of opening and closing the bar and managing supplies
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep and bar areas
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Serve and assist guests with high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality
- Handle money, make change, and operate cash register and POS software
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, and other positions as needed
- Use knowledge of hotel, local area, and events to answer guest questions
