Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to open and close the bar and maintain supplies
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used in the kitchen and bar
- Ability to open and close the bar and maintain all necessary supplies
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the food prep and bar area in a clean and well-organized manner
- Serve and assist guests at the bar with drink orders and recommendations
- Mix and serve a wide variety of cocktails and beverages in a fast-paced environment
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- Handle money, make change, and operate office machines such as cash registers and POS software
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members while maintaining professionalism in difficult situations
