Job Description
This opportunity is with a hotel, a hospitality establishment known for providing lodging, food service, and various guest services. Hotels prioritize cleanliness and sanitation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests. Maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen area is critical to comply with health and safety regulations, and to uphold the quality of service expected by patrons. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Ability to frequently push and/or pull up to 250 lbs
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head
- Ability to occasionally bend, reach, climb, squat, kneel, communicate via radio, and distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to constantly walk, stand, and use of hearing and vision
Job Qualifications
- 6 months of experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a team or group environment
- At least 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Operate and maintain various machines such as dishwashing machines, garbage disposals, sinks, grills, broilers, pots, pans, utensils and all other kitchen equipment and surfaces including the breakdown of machines as assigned
- Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters
- Adhere to all Health Department sanitation and safety regulations as required
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
