Job Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs, such as cookware and dish racks
- perform repetitive motions, such as scrubbing and drying
- work in a humid environment near sinks and dishwashers
- maintain physical stamina to handle long shifts in a fast-paced setting
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus but not required
- knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safety practices
- ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- strong attention to detail and organization
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- ensure all items are properly dried and stored in designated areas
- maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and equipment
- assist kitchen staff with cleaning tasks as needed
- monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the kitchen manager
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager
