Job Requirements
- Experience in a professional restaurant kitchen is preferred
- personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team
- availability to work weekends, day shifts and evening shifts
- valid Food Handlers Certification Card or be able to take a company provided course within 30 days of hire
- ability to remain stationary for long periods
- ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to frequently bend and reach overhead
- ability to lift and use kitchen utensils
- ability to work in fluctuating temperatures from hot to cold
- ability to work near open flames, hot equipment and steam
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- ability to work in tight spaces
- ability to recognize and comprehend spatial cues
- ability to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
- ability to move regularly around the restaurant carrying items
- must be able to work safely and remain alert at all times
Job Qualifications

- experience in a professional restaurant kitchen preferred

- basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety practices
Job Duties
- Comply with sanitation standards including proper dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
- assist with receiving and storing incoming orders ensuring correct temperature control
- take initiative to complete job duties and assist shift leader with tasks
- communicate equipment, product, or safety concerns promptly
- wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and utensils using dish machines or manual methods
- clean and sanitize kitchen work areas including equipment, utensils, tables, shelves, and appliances
- remove trash and clean garbage containers
- sweep and mop kitchen and common areas as needed
- assist other kitchen team members with various tasks as requested
