The company is known for embracing family values and fostering an environment where employees feel inspired to better their lives. The organization thrives on building meaningful connections within its communities and among its team members through initiatives like Panda Cares, which allows employees to give back while making a positive impact.
The role of Kitchen Team Associate offers a unique opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team that values friendly collaboration and guest satisfaction. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be responsible for cooking delicious food while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. This is more than just a kitchen job; it is a chance to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where there is always something new to learn, new skills to develop, and new accomplishments to celebrate. Those without prior experience are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive hands-on training is provided to help you succeed and advance in your career.
Employees in this role work efficiently in different kitchen areas, including the front counter, drive-through, and kitchen stations. They engage directly with guests by greeting them, serving food, and handling cash register payments to ensure a positive dining experience. Maintaining the store's cleanliness and appearance to offer a welcoming atmosphere is a key responsibility alongside meeting daily operational goals through effective teamwork. This position pays between $22 to $25 per hour, with the actual wage depending on factors such as location and individual experience. Flexible scheduling is available, making it a great fit for individuals seeking a balanced work-life arrangement.
Panda Restaurant Group fosters an inclusive and accessible workplace that complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The company encourages applicants of all backgrounds and abilities to apply and offers reasonable accommodations during the hiring process and employment to support success in the role. Working conditions may require standing for up to four hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working efficiently in a sometimes hot and noisy environment. Employees must be able to adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively while upholding company standards and safety procedures.
Joining Panda as a Kitchen Team Associate means not only gaining valuable culinary and operational skills but also becoming part of a company committed to your personal and professional growth. With opportunities for advancement, career development programs, and leadership training, employees have the chance to flourish and move into management positions if they choose. Beyond the job, Panda provides medical, dental, vision, and other insurance benefits for eligible full-time associates, as well as 401K savings plans, paid vacation, sick and bereavement leave, and employee discounts. This comprehensive benefit package combined with the friendly workplace and focus on community engagement makes Panda Restaurant Group an excellent place to build a career in the food service industry.
