Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is a renowned family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept founded in 1983 in Glendale, California. Over the years, Panda has grown to be the largest of its kind in America, with close to 2,800 locations worldwide. The company is dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, driven by a mission to inspire both its team members and the communities it serves. Panda emphasizes family values and fosters an inclusive work environment where employees have the opportunity to grow professionally and personally. As a leader in the restaurant industry, Panda Restaurant Group prides itself on supporting its employees through continuous training, career development, and community involvement initiatives such as Panda Cares.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Kitchen Team Associates. This role is ideal for motivated team players who enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Even those without prior experience are encouraged to apply since comprehensive training is provided. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable culinary and operational skills that can support your career growth within the restaurant industry or beyond. This full-time position offers a rewarding work atmosphere where teamwork is key, and employees often build lasting friendships. Our flexible scheduling options ensure a balanced work-life experience for all associates.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to guests by greeting them warmly, serving delicious food, handling payments accurately, and maintaining a clean and attractive workspace. You will work closely with team members in various roles such as front counter service, drive-through operations, and kitchen tasks to meet daily goals efficiently while adhering to safety and operational standards. The job requires standing for extended periods, handling food quickly and accurately, and maintaining composure in a lively and sometimes noisy kitchen environment. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and adapting to changing priorities throughout the workday.

Panda Restaurant Group takes pride in offering numerous benefits to support the health, financial security, and career development of its employees. Full-time associates are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as voluntary disability and cancer protection plans. Employees can also take advantage of flexible spending accounts for health and dependent care, a generous 401K plan with company matching, paid vacation and sick leave, associate discounts on various brands, referral bonuses, and opportunities to participate in community service through Panda Cares. Paid hands-on training and ongoing leadership development help prepare associates for advancement into management positions. We are committed to inclusivity and provide reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Whether you are seeking your first job or an opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, family-oriented environment, Panda Restaurant Group welcomes you to apply and become a valued member of our team.
