The organization prides itself on creating a support system where team members are not only coworkers but become friends, encouraging a positive and inclusive work environment. The company operates with strong family values and is committed to equal opportunity employment, embracing diversity and inclusivity without discrimination based on gender, race, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
As a Kitchen Team Associate at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play an essential role in delivering the company's renowned guest experience. This position is ideal for friendly, motivated individuals who want to thrive in a fast-paced and supportive kitchen environment. The role involves cooking delicious foods while maintaining rigorous cleanliness and safety standards. Whether you have prior experience or not, Panda is committed to providing hands-on training to help you succeed and develop skills that will benefit your career growth. Kitchen Team Associates work closely with other team members, rotating through various positions such as front counter, drive-thru, and kitchen to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality service.
The role requires adaptability, effective communication, and a positive attitude to meet daily goals while enhancing the customer experience. Beyond the kitchen, associates have opportunities to engage with the local community through Panda Cares, reinforcing the company’s dedication to social responsibility. The position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay, making it accessible for students, career changers, and anyone interested in gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Additionally, Panda provides a comprehensive benefits package to eligible full-time associate members, including medical, vision, dental, short-term disability insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, and more.
In this role, you will be expected to work in a dynamic environment that demands standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working efficiently with kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. The working conditions include a loud kitchen environment with heat and steam, restricted workspace, and varying shelving heights. Candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and display excellent teamwork and conflict management skills. This position offers a pathway for growth and leadership development within a highly respected and thriving restaurant group known for its quality and culture.
