The organization is recognized for fostering an inspiring workplace where team members are encouraged to better their lives and contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve. Panda Restaurant Group embraces diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusivity, making it an employer of choice for many across the country.
The Kitchen Team Associate role at Panda Restaurant Group is an exciting opportunity for friendly and motivated individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be responsible for preparing delicious food while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position offers hands-on paid training, making it ideal for candidates with little to no experience who are eager to learn and advance their careers within the restaurant industry. You will collaborate closely with team members in roles including front counter, drive-through, and kitchen stations to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests. The company values teamwork and fosters a positive, supportive atmosphere where employees can thrive and develop new skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe and supportive environment where continuous learning and growth are encouraged. Panda Restaurant Group provides a strong commitment to career and leadership development, offering pathways for advancement into management positions. In addition to competitive pay ranging from $19 to $22 per hour (dependent on location and experience), employees enjoy a range of comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, free meals during shifts, and flexible scheduling. Furthermore, Panda is heavily invested in community engagement through its Panda Cares initiative, enabling team members to contribute to local charitable efforts while honing their skills.
Those who join Panda can expect a workplace that values family-oriented culture and inclusivity, standing as an Equal Opportunity Employer. The company complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding workplace accommodations, ensuring that employees with disabilities receive reasonable support to perform their roles effectively. Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working efficiently under hot, noisy, and fast-paced kitchen conditions. Effective communication, adaptability, and cooperation are essential traits for success in this role.
Joining Panda Restaurant Group as a Kitchen Team Associate is not just a job; it is a chance to be part of a vibrant community committed to excellence, growth, and giving back. Whether you are just starting out or looking for a supportive environment to build your professional skills, Panda provides a rewarding career path focused on teamwork, development, and making a positive impact both inside the restaurant and beyond.
