Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a minimum of 30+ hours on a weekly basis
  • At least 2 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to work weekends holidays and extended operating hours

Job Duties

  • Hire train mentor and manage kitchen staff to ensure strong teamwork and professional growth
  • Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback
  • Develop and maintain a positive respectful and inclusive work environment
  • Ensure all team members understand and follow standard operating procedures safety protocols and customer service expectations
  • Oversee food preparation cooking and presentation to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety standards
  • Maintain kitchen efficiency during peak times by managing workflow and staff rotations
  • Ensure accurate portion control and adherence to all recipe guidelines
  • Manage kitchen opening and closing procedures including cleaning restocking and equipment checks
  • Enforce all local state and federal food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas equipment and utensils in compliance with health codes
  • Conduct regular food safety and equipment inspections to ensure compliance
  • Ensure proper food storage temperature control and allergen awareness
  • Track inventory and place timely food and supply orders to prevent shortages
  • Monitor and minimize food waste through effective prep and portion control
  • Assist with menu planning product rotation and seasonal item adjustments
  • Work with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Collaborate with front-of-house supervisors to ensure timely food service and guest satisfaction
  • Respond quickly to food quality concerns or complaints and resolve them professionally
  • Lead by example in maintaining a guest-first mindset throughout all kitchen operations
