Job Requirements
- Professional training through culinary education or equivalent experience
- Previous supervisory experience in kitchen operation
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef's knife
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Valid food handling certificate if required by law
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events
Job Qualifications
- Professional culinary training or experience in fine dining/catering
- Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff
- Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid food handling certificate if required
- Demonstrated excellent attendance
Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff work
- Teach culinary preparation and food presentation skills
- Assist in controlling food and labor costs
- Conduct regular cleanliness and maintenance inspections
- Assist with monthly inventory management
- Provide high-quality, fresh food products timely
- Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes
- Participate as a team player in preparation and service
- Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Observe and test foods for proper cooking
- Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates
- Consult with General Manager for menu planning and food consumption estimation
