Job Description
We are a dynamic and growing company operating within the food service industry, specializing in delivering exceptional dining experiences through our company-owned kitchens and expanding network of franchise locations. Our brand has earned a reputation for culinary excellence, consistency, and a commitment to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a company that values operational integrity and franchisee success, we place strong emphasis on maintaining high standards across all our kitchens, whether company-operated or franchised.
We are hiring a Kitchen Supervisor / Trainer, a hands-on leadership role designed for an individual who is passionate about kitchen operations and coaching. This position is pivotal in ensuring our kitchens run smoothly and efficiently from opening to closing, while also overseeing the training and development of new franchise teams throughout the country. The Kitchen Supervisor / Trainer will work directly in our company-owned kitchens every day, providing on-the-floor support, overseeing culinary consistency, maintaining rigorous food safety protocols, and ensuring recipes are executed with precision. Additionally, this role requires traveling to new franchise locations nationally to train teams and help launch successful operations.
This role offers an attractive hourly wage range from $18 to $19 per hour while working in company kitchens, with additional compensation at $25 per hour plus expenses reimbursed when traveling out of town to support franchise openings and ongoing team development. As a vital part of our growth strategy, the Kitchen Supervisor / Trainer will have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of franchise partners by providing practical training on protein preparation, portioning, plating, sanitation, kitchen organization, and brand-specific workflows. The ideal candidate will hold ServSafe certification and possess solid kitchen experience, particularly with protein prep involving beef, poultry, and lamb.
A key feature of this role is its blend of operational responsibility and educational outreach. The successful candidate should be able to lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating impeccable food safety and sanitation practices and coaching team members effectively. Previous training or supervisory experience within kitchens is required, as the role involves providing performance feedback, troubleshooting kitchen challenges, and ensuring operational consistency. Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills are essential to support diverse kitchen teams across varying environments while upholding rigorous standards.
This position requires a committed individual who is willing and able to travel nationally as assigned by management to support franchise expansion efforts. Travel includes training at company kitchens and franchise locations with all travel expenses covered by the company, alongside additional pay for travel periods. This multi-faceted role is ideal for kitchen professionals seeking a career that combines hands-on culinary operations with leadership and training responsibilities, contributing directly to the growth and success of a respected brand.
