Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Supervisor to join the team at Good Game in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is perfectly suited for an experienced cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering quality food and outstanding service to guests. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a crucial leadership role in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets the company’s high standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene. This supervisory role requires monitoring kitchen equipment efficiency and ensuring cleanliness and organization of food storage areas like walk-ins and freezers. Ideal candidates for this position bring at least two years of experience as a line cook, lead line cook, or kitchen supervisor and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. They should be detail-oriented with basic math skills to accurately follow and adjust recipe measurements. This role demands the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment and requires no college degree, making it accessible to many skilled culinary professionals. Candidates must also meet physical requirements including the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and move throughout their shift, and perform manual tasks like chopping and mixing.

Job Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience as a line cook, lead line cook, or kitchen supervisor
- Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity

Job Duties

- Ensure all kitchen equipment is working efficiently, supervising team members with cleaning and food production in their areas, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers, as well as supervising proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food
- Actively maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
