The Kitchen Supervisor role at Live Nation Entertainment is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the kitchen that supports concerts and events. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Kitchen Supervisor schedules staff, maintains labor budgets, and manages both opening and closing tasks within the kitchen. Job Requirements

- Skill in cooking, cost controls, and management
- Crew development and crew training procedures
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs
- Ability to organize and manage time
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen management and leadership experience

Job Duties
- Work with Food & Beverage Manager to schedule shifts for kitchen staff and adhere to labor budgets
- Perform all opening and closing kitchen supervisory tasks
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Assist in making decisions for staff and reaching resolutions of staff issues and situations
- Motivate kitchen staff for better performance and guest service
- Create harmonious working atmosphere for staff
- Assist in performance of all job functions required of staff including the lifting/moving of up to 150 lbs
- Ensure that kitchen staff maintains a clean kitchen area throughout shift
- Maintain shift checklist, daily cleaning list, and master cleaning list
- Assist in cleaning spills, wiping surfaces and equipment, and keeping floor clean and free of food, trash, or obstacles throughout shift
- Oversee food production to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure timely delivery of food items
- Oversee and execute exceptional food service to all two points of sale (VIP and Concessions)
- Communicate information and coordinate between kitchen and other departments
- Maintain cooperative relationship with other departments
- Attend and assist in mandatory manager meetings
- Communicate information between kitchen staff and managers
- Assist other employees as needed
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels
- recruit and hire staff
- ensure hiring/disciplinary/termination standards are in accordance with Live Nation guidelines
- Develop menus for VIP, Concessions, and Supper Club
- Complete tasks and adhere to deadlines given by the GM or Food & Beverage Manager
- Create and maintain relationships with food suppliers and reps
- Track and monitor food sales
- Log kitchen waste accurately
- Monitor and maintain inventory and participate in monthly inventory counts
