NOW HIRING FULL & PART-TIME: KITCHEN SUPERVISORS

Joining the Culinary/Back of House team at Carson's American Bistro as a Kitchen Supervisor offers a unique leadership opportunity for individuals passionate about food and team management. In this role, you will support the Kitchen Manager in ensuring that every guest's meal is executed to perfection consistently. You will take on a hands-on leadership position in the kitchen environment, responsible for preparing, cooking, and garnishing food to Barney's high standards. This key role focuses on maintaining kitchen operations running smoothly, coordinating with staff, and ensuring quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Ideal candidates will have 2-5+ years of cooking or culinary experience and will preferably bring a background in Kitchen Supervisor or Lead Line Cook positions. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5+ years of cooking or culinary experience
  • prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy objects
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of cook/culinary experience
  • previous Kitchen Supervisor or Lead Line Cook experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • culinary school diploma or certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • support the Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations
  • prepare, cook and garnish food orders
  • lead kitchen staff and provide training
  • ensure food quality and presentation meet standards
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen areas
  • manage inventory and supplies
  • assist with scheduling and team coordination
