As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial leadership role in a fast-paced culinary environment where quality service and food presentation are paramount. You will oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen, from food preparation to maintaining stringent sanitation standards, ensuring that all food meets quality and portion control guidelines.
Your responsibilities will include creating weekly dining room menus based on personal or established recipes, supervising team members to ensure adherence to food safety and organizational policies, and maintaining kitchen equipment functionality. You will be accountable for monitoring food costs in alignment with culinary leadership's standards and performing opening, closing, and side work duties to maintain kitchen efficiency. Eligible employees may also receive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement.
This role demands a physically active individual capable of handling up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and performing manual tasks such as chopping, mixing, and blending. The position involves varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour schedules and overtime as needed.
Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a supportive, global team where your contributions truly matter. If you have at least two years of experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor, possess strong leadership and math skills, and enjoy working in a bustling kitchen environment, this opportunity is your gateway to an exciting and rewarding culinary career.
