Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
- Ability to perform both front and back of house duties
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Provides management and support for the kitchen staff ensuring efficiency in daily restaurant operations
- Monitors food production, ordering, cost, quality and consistency ensuring financial performance and control
- Ensures all operations, recipes, specification books and training materials are current and maintained
- Creates work schedules for assigned staff and addresses scheduling conflicts ensuring sufficient staffing levels
- Follows and enforces all applicable safety procedures for kitchen and food service areas
- Coordinates food orders and works alongside the cooks
- Determines food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Manages and maintains sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and arranging repairs
- Works with suppliers to ensure quality goods at affordable prices
- Ensures sanitation standards are maintained in accordance with federal regulations and local health codes
- Participates in daily safety and cleanliness inspections, assigning cleaning tasks during slow periods
- Reports maintenance requests promptly
- Performs and understands managerial functions within the Point of Sale system
- Maintains cash handling, accountability, and profit and loss authority
- Performs duties of any restaurant position as needed, including kitchen cooking and cleaning
- Assists with marketing and promotional programs to build sales
- Meets and greets customers, organizes table reservations, addresses concerns and receives feedback on product quality and service
- Controls operational costs and identifies ways to cut waste
- Performs related duties as directed
- Maintains regular and timely attendance
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with public, coworkers and others in daily work
