Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years experience in Food & Beverage Storeroom, Stewarding or Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Knowledge of safe sanitary cleaning procedures and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of Union Labor Law and Contracts
  • Ability to plan, organize and implement assignments
  • Good judgement in supervision
  • Experience managing and training staff
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient service
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Must obtain and maintain Food Handler's Card
  • Must obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
  • May require gaming license
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable record if driving is required

Job Duties

  • Supervise Lead Stewards, Utility Clerks, and Inventory Control Stocks
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines
  • Organize and monitor work processes
  • Assist with daily administrative duties
  • Implement and update cleaning schedules
  • Maintain high quality and professionalism
  • Conduct ongoing training in dishwashing, maintenance, sanitation and safety
  • Oversee cleanliness and productivity standards
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Manage departmental costs including labor and expenses
  • Maintain inventory levels for supplies and equipment
  • Address and resolve complaints
  • Hire, train, and evaluate employees
  • Maintain sanitary back-of-house areas
  • Support efficient department operations
