Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years' experience in high volume kitchen
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Serve Safe or California Food Handlers Certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds
- Must follow food safety and hygiene protocols
- Ability to use basic computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
- Two plus years' experience in high volume kitchen
- Pizza experience a plus
- Prior supervisory experience highly desired
- Serve Safe or California Food Handlers Certification
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
Job Duties
- Spend approximately 80% of time prepping and preparing food orders
- Ensure recipes are followed and portion control is adhered to
- Coordinate and guide kitchen staff
- Escalate situations to Kitchen Manager, FOH Supervisor, GM or HR as appropriate
- Ensure all side work is done before staff leave their shift
- Manage shift changes and monitor kitchen staff breaks
- Act as back-up for ordering when Kitchen Manager is unavailable
- Lead kitchen shift meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
