Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary supervisory role
  • Extensive experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage inventory and control food costs
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen or hospitality setting
  • Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Background in banquet service, catering, or fine dining environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
  • Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations management
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
  • Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining experience
  • Coordinate with catering and banquet services to deliver seamless event execution from setup to service
  • Assist with menu planning by collaborating with chefs to develop innovative dishes that meet guest expectations
  • Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure smooth operations during busy periods
