The role of Utility Cleaner at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte is a vital position that supports various departments within the hotel including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry services. Although categorized as a non-management full-time position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary department, this job plays a critical role in maintaining the high cleanliness and operational standards expected by the Ritz-Carlton brand. The primary responsibilities revolve around assisting with maintaining cleanliness, handling laundry operations such as preparing linens and clean dishes, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment including dishwashers, sinks, washers, and dryers, and transporting linens and utensils throughout the hotel. These tasks ensure that guests enjoy a hygienic, comfortable, and seamless experience during their stay.
Utility Cleaners at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte are expected to be flexible and ready to assist wherever needed to achieve common goals. The role involves physical effort such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects less than 50 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, as well as bending, twisting, stretching, and crouching as required.
