Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation
  • open availability for training and work schedule
  • comfortable with repetitive, detail-oriented manual tasks
  • ability to attend training Monday through Friday during scheduled hours
  • willingness to work in person at the Brea location
  • strong focus on consistency and quality
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in dough preparation such as pastry or pizza is a plus
  • basic English skills to understand instructions and communicate with the team
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • eagerness to learn and be challenged
  • physically able to stand for long periods
  • previous dumpling experience is not required

Job Duties

  • Prepares, measures, and cuts dough
  • rolls dumpling and bun skins
  • stuffs, closes, and arranges dumplings and buns in a steamer
  • adds meat and allergen identifiers
  • steams dumplings and buns
  • maintains a clean working space and dumpling room
  • labels all items in accordance with regulations and procedures
  • attends monthly staff and dumpling meetings
  • keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
  • organizes items within walk-in coolers and freezers
  • lifts and moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
  • assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
  • maintains confidentiality regarding proprietary information including recipes and standard operating procedures
