Job Description

This position involves food preparation for catering and concessions events, assisting in plating food, following recipes, maintaining kitchen equipment, participating in food display designs, ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, operating dishwashing equipment, and other assigned duties. The role requires working both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Exceptional customer relations, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and multitask
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in English for customer and team communication
  • Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift at least 30 pounds, and engage in repetitive reaching, stooping, and bending.
